Top quality workmanship fair prices
Please don’t be misled... my carpentry skills – I’m still the same perfectionist I’ve always been and will continue to be. So what it takes a little extra time to make it real nice, that’s on me. I price by the job, not by the hour.

Prior to the recession I found success by buying a small house in a decent neighborhood/town. I'd live in it while tripling the size of it: (In between jobs) After 2 years ownership there is no capital gain tax. This 2nd one I did in Darien was a "home run".
I will help you create any upgrades and renovations to your home
The master suite in this Darien home has cathedral ceilings and skylights in both the bedroom and bathroom... A double sink Corian vanity top. Open the adjacent cabinet door on the wall and toss your dirty laundry into what is a cabinet of the laundry room in hallway. I made a cedar closet in the attic for out of season clothes storage.
This rather large "great room" is also cathedral ceilings with skylights, and a kitchen.
The mahogany counter at the back and above the sink granite counter is held up by glass block. Lights mounted to bottom of mahogany shine through glass block onto kitchen counter top. The base cabinet at the wall steps down a little for a matching desk. Continue past the window to the wrap around corner built-in seat/storage with recessed toe space heat-stay cozy while eating at the table. A little beyond is the sliding door to the backyard/patio.
The large flag stone slab just inside has electric heat under it. The very few steps to the outdoor patio are extra deep - 15" with only a 5" rise.
There's a guest bedroom on the first floor in front. A full bathroom in the hallway was completely remodeled with high-end finishes.
The basement is fairly large, dry and clean. I picture it being finished by now for either a children play room and or a man cave! Home-office?
The lattice panels under front sitting porch are made of vinyl with pressure-treated frames that last 4-ever. So will the 'Ipe decking. The cedar shingle siding there- I recessed/set-in A couple of diamonds for detail, One adjacent to new mahogany front door, the other at opposite end.
The siding on exterior... I wanted low maintenance and durable such as vinyl siding is, yet without a cheap appearance. All the exterior trim around windows, doors and at corner boards are wood. I simply had to router out the back/outer perimeter edge for a "channel" to receive the vinyl siding. You wouldn't know it's vinyl siding unless you came close and touched it.
The purchase price was 305K. After building it, I attempted to sell it on my own. (not so easy!) So I rented it for $5,000/monthly for 2 years. I then sold it for $830K. Some years later I learned that it sold for $1 million. And again later for $1.3 million!!! Perhaps you can envision your home enhanced and increased in value by us!
